letters to future you
write a letter to your future self, and seal it
Type a little letter on the laptop in your Wiggly room, seal it with red wax, and pick the day it should find you. Until then, no peeking.
no card needed · then $1 a week or $9 for lifetime · nothing renews
how it works
Open the laptop on your desk in Wiggly and start with dear future me. Your words come out in typewriter type on lined paper, with a gentle question if you are not sure where to begin.
Choose when it opens: in a week, a month, three months, six months, a year, or a date you pick. Then seal it. The paper folds into a kraft envelope, a red wax seal stamps down, and it waits in your outbox.
On the day, at 9am, the envelope appears on your laptop, and if you like, a little email lets you know it has arrived. Open it, read what past you had to say, and keep it, archive it or pin it to your board.
little things that make it special
- a real wax seal and no way to peek before the day.
- typewriter letters on lined paper, signed with the date.
- an email on the day only if you want one, and it never shows your words.
- your month, wrapped on the 1st, a receipt of everything you did that month.
Your letters are kept in your own private space with the rest of your board, so only you can ever read them. Our server only knows the day a letter opens, so it can tell you when it arrives.
little questions
Can I write a letter to my future self for free?
Yes. You get a whole free day with everything unlocked, no card needed, so you can write and seal as many letters as you like. After that it is $1 for a week or $9 once for lifetime access, and your sealed letters still arrive.
Can I open my letter early?
No, that is the point. A sealed letter stays sealed until its day. If you change your mind completely, you can tear it up.
How far ahead can I send a letter?
Anywhere from a week to ten years. Pick one of the quick options or choose any date.
Will anyone else read my letter?
No. Letters live in your own account and only you can read them. Even the arrival email only says that a letter has arrived.
come and see your corner
Wiggly is a whole little room: a pinboard, planners, a study nook, a voice diary, a typewriter, a radio and a photobooth. It is made by one person, slowly and with care, and it is happiest on a laptop.
